Wheel To Wheel Racing – How To
The first thing all participants need is an approved Racing license. For a full list of approved licenses, please see our General Competition Rules. If you do not have a racing license, we offer Wheel to Wheel driving schools at the beginning of each season, and during the season. Please see the Drivers School section to find out more.
To compete in the Midwestern Council Drivers’ Championship, participants are required to be members of Midwestern Council. This is done by joining any of our seven member clubs found on our home page. Membership is not required to participate, but is highly encouraged as our membership offers many discounts for racing products!
To pre-register for an event, simply go to MotorsportReg.com and click on the event you wish to register. If you miss out on pre-registration, you can still register at the track on the same day as the event!
Rules and Classification
All rules, classification, and procedures can be found in our GCR. This is also where you will find all safety regulations for each class and car.
At the Track
Once you arrive at the track, you will first need to head to registration where you will receive your tech sheet. Once registered you will need to go to tech inspection before the event begins. If you have an annual tech inspection from a recognized sanctioning body, all you will need is your helmet and log book. If not, you will need to put your car through tech. Finally, there is a mandatory Drivers’ Meeting the morning before each event where you will be given any necessary information to have a safe and fun day on track!
If you have any questions along the way, feel free to contact our Competition Director!
