F&C volunteers are a vital layer in the Race Safety services our organization provides and is known for. You are the first responders when things happen on the race course.

Here's how the big picture looks
Central Control manages the event and makes the big decisions. Problem is, they can't be everywhere and see everything. So they station teams of people at specific points alongside the race track.

When something happens on track, F&C volunteers react and then let Central Control know what happened. Of course, if the particular F&C team cannot resolve a problem themselves, they just ask Control for help and Rescue gets sent.
